A dive bar, both Boog and I loved and would frequent again on any trip to New Orleans.
Be sure to try the Sausage and Rabbit Jambalaya, mustard based Killer Slaw made from scratch, Red Beans with Rice and Sausage, Blackened Redfish with a cup of cream mustard sauce (you might need to request) and Cajun Fried Chicken.
Open noon and long into the evening for cheap eats and drinks $32 bucks. 
Don’t be fooled, Coop’s is the real deal…outdoor kitchen and smoker
and even an out house in the back…Half jokin’ about the out house
(no poops in Coops says Bubba).
